Jackdaw Theatre was formed in 2011 by Amy Clamp, Holly Seager, Ben Karakashian and Bethan Dear. At the time we all lived and worked creating theatre in London. We have all since taken our own individual and very successful paths in the arts industries in and around the UK and beyond.

 

Jackdaw would not be here today, if it weren't for the love, time, care, energy, passion, work and great enthusiasm, that these four founding individuals gave to the company during our first few years. These four people were the beginning of a beautiful and remarkable journey for Jackdaw.

 

Jackdaw is an ever changing and constantly evolving collective of theatre makers, perfromers, activists, artists, and technicians. We work with children, members of the local community, with marginalised and or vulnerable young people and adults, as well as many professional creatives.

 

We seek to employ new artists for each project that we run, create, produce, or co-produce. We are interested in forming new relationships with artists and venues, as well as nurturing all of our existing, long standing, creative partnerships and collaborations. We believe in creating change.
